 APPEL Corps logoAs you complete your math and science requirements at Montgomery College, we encourage you to take advantage of the many services we have to offer including tutoring, current text books, a computer lab, calculators, and review sessions. We provide a supportive environment outside the classroom where you can work at your own pace. We are here to assist you in being a successful student. Visit us soon and come back often!

The learning centers require you to bring identification with you in order to use their facilities.  You must bring a valid Montgomery College ID with the current registration sticker.

Tutoring is for students currently enrolled in math, chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, and geosciences classes at Montgomery College. Tutoring is generally available from 9:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Fridays; and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturdays (for the fall and spring semesters only). Students should check the posted schedules for tutor availability.

Jan 3 - 178am - 4pm  *


* The Rockville Math Science Center will be relocating during the Winter Session. Hours are subject to change.  Call ahead to make sure the Center is open to help you.


The Ackerman Learning Center is located on the Rockville Campus on the ground floor of the new Science West (SW) building in room 100.

Announcements 

The Center will be moving to its new location in Science Center West (SW) 100 on Thursday, January 19th. The Center will not be open for full services the first week of class. Students may pick up forms for calculator loans Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 - 3:00 pm (Monday, January 23 - Saturday, January 28). The Center will be open full time around the second week of classes, and the rest of its services will resume shortly after.
