In 2010 the Print Management Committee identified public printers in libraries, labs, and learning centers at the College. These printers generated an estimated 10.4 million imprints yearly for an annual cost of approximately $175,000. A study conducted by a diverse committee of stakeholders in 2011 showed that the best operating format used by national colleges and universities to reduce spending, conserve paper and avoid the expense of replacement printer costs, was a kiosk style pay-for-print system.
