Web Registration

Web registration is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
For assistance with Web registration, please call 240-567-5188 Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

New Student Returning Student Just Browsing Catalog

• New Student

You are considered a new student if you have never taken a class or event sponsored by Montgomery College.

• Returning Student

You are considered a returning student if you have taken a class at any Montgomery College location. Visit MYMC to register by web. If you are not sure if you are considered a returning student visit MYMC, for information on how to contact the IT Service Desk for assistance. If you do not remember your Montgomery College ID number or Password, visit MYMCfor assistance.

New Students

You are considered a new student if you have never taken a class or event sponsored by Montgomery College.

Note: The first thing you will need to do is create your “Web Application”.  Please follow directions. You will be admitted for the term  you state on your admissions application and will remain admitted to Montgomery College for ALL future terms and at ALL campuses for WD&CE classes only.

Make sure you apply as a WD&CE Workforce Dev & CE student to avoid the $25.00 charge (see image below)

Please read the Online Instructions before continuing, to make sure that Web registration is right for you. Not all courses are eligible for web registration.

Web Application Login

Students should follow the directions for First Time User Account Creation.

Students will create a Temporary Login ID and PIN which is used for your Web Application only. Write this information down as you will need to use it later in the registration process. Upon completion of the Web Application students will be prompted to change their login ID and PIN, and create a security question in MYMC.

Important: During the web application you will be prompted to “Select Application Type”. You must select  noncredit WD&CE from the drop down menu, otherwise you will be charged a nonrefundable fee of $25.00

Follow the instructions to complete the application.   If you are ready to register for a class, click on the “Access Web for Student” button in the bottom left corner.
Note:  If you get an Error message you will need to call our WD&CE Customer Service line at 240-567-5188 for assistance.

You will next be prompted to “Login Verification Change Pin”.
(Make sure you keep your user name and pin#.  It will be required each time you go into MYMC).  If you experience a problem setting up your new pin#, please call 240-567-5188.


You are now ready to register online for a WD&CE class

  If you already have your CRN# and just want to register click on Register, Add/Drop Classes.
Type in your CRN# (s)  under the “Add classes to Worksheet” section and then click on submit changes.

If you wish to “Look UP Classes” 
Note all Montgomery College classes are listed, both credit and noncredit.   All WD&CE non credit offerings are identified by a 3 subject alpha code. (ex:AHT, CMP, ILL) and will have /nc at the end. Follow directions to add classes. Be sure to click on "Complete Registration" found in red at the bottom of the page when you are done.

Registration Fee Assessment:
You must pay by credit card at the time of registration to hold your place in a class.  Click on Payment Information to pay by credit card. Note: Any classes not paid for will be dropped the next business day.

Returning Students MYMC 

You are considered a returning student if you have taken a class at any Montgomery College location.

You want to go to http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/ then click on the MYMC button located on top of screen.   

Type in your Login and Pin, then hit Enter.
Note: If you have forgotten either your login or pin# click on the links directly below those fields and follow the directions.

Click on "Register, Add, Drop Classes"  then "Select Term".

If you already have your CRN# and just want to register click on Register, Add/Drop Classes.
