Montgomery College has partnered with The Center for Legal Studies to offer an online Advanced Paralegal Certificate Program. These specialized classes have been attended by thousands of professionals who seek concentrated study of specific paralegal practice areas. Select from a list of fifteen classes on contemporary law topics. Students successfully completing at least six classes/topics will be awarded an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Montgomery College, Maryland.

Prerequisites:

Completion of the Paralegal Certificate Course offered by the Center for Legal Studies, or at least one year of legal experience.

Schedule and Registration

Fall 2013: Session II October 21, 2013 - December 6, 2013
Spring 2014: Session I January 13, 2014 - February 28, 2014
Spring 2014: Session II March 10, 2014 - April 25, 2014
Summer 2014: Session I May 5, 2014 - June 20, 2014
Summer 2014: Session II June 30, 2014 - August 15, 2014
Fall 2014: Session I August 25, 2014 - October 10, 2014
Each advanced topic is completed in a seven week online session, and you may begin your Advanced Paralegal Course with any session offered throughout the year. Students may take one topic at a time or up to a maximum of three topics per online session. Course topics DO NOT need to be taken in any particular order. Upon successful completion of at least six topics, students earn an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Montgomery College.

Course Fees and Materials

Tuition is $275.00 for each Advanced Paralegal Certificate Course Topic, or $1,650.00 for six topics. Note Non-Maryland residents pay an additional $5.00 fee per topic. The Tuition does not include textbooks or WESTLAW access.
