Lifelong Learning Institute is committed to creating and fostering a variety of intellectually stimulating opportunities for Montgomery County residents age 50 and over. Adults of any age may register for classes.

Be sure to select both the class name AND the Instructor name to ensure you find the correct supply list for your class. Some classes have more than one section offered during the semester at different locations with different Instructors.

Brain, Boost Your brain Power and Memory, Lifelong Learning Program

10:00-11:00am
Presentation: Brain Health: What the Latest Research Tells Us, by Dr Molly Wagster. Lecture followed by Q and A.

11:15am-12:45pm
Three hands-on workshops on brain memory enhancement:
Multi-sensory art actvities, memory strategies games, brain boosting activities.

Come explore the research and strategies on how to boost your brain power and memory by Dr. Molly Wagster, Chief of the Behavioral and Systems Neuroscience Branch in the Division of Neuroscience at National Institute on Aging (NIA). Then put some of that knowledge to work as you join other students in hands-on brain and memory workshops.
