WD&CE Bridge to Academic and Career Success
The WD&CE Bridge to Academic and Career Success program is a learning community offered by Montgomery College, Workforce Development & Continuing Education. It is designed for students who have a reading score of 35 to 52 points on the Accuplacer Reading Test.
The WD&CE Bridge program is a one-semester, noncredit program that includes an intense reading instruction course, a writing instruction course, and a life skills and career planning course. Those students in the WD&CE Bridge program will be re-tested in Reading to determine their eligibility to continue on to college credit courses or noncredit options.
Students are encouraged to meet with a WD&CE Bridge Counselor before the beginning of the semester. The WD&CE Bridge program students who reside in Montgomery County, and who have graduated from a Montgomery County high school may be eligible to apply for a special Bridge Grant. Grant funds are limited.
