The mathematics track is a transfer program that provides the first two years of courses necessary for a four-year baccalaureate degree in mathematics.

Transfer and Articulation Agreements

Montgomery College has Articulation Agreements with several transfer institutions. These agreements document the transfer policies for a specific academic program or degree in general. You can find these by visiting the Montgomery College Transfer Planning website.

University of Maryland, College Park

Math majors at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) have to complete a three-course supporting course sequence in an area related to math. If you would like to transfer to UMCP as a math major, please take a look at the following advising charts for suggested courses that you can take at MC to prepare you for transfer to UMCP.

The advising charts are designated by which supporting course sequence you would like to take - Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Engineering, or Physics. Each chart includes four and six semester suggested course sequences which correspond to full-time and part-time schedules respectively.
