Montgomery College Learning Centers promote student success by providing engaging, responsive, and interactive academic support. In support of Montgomery College’s commitment to cultivate a common student experience, Montgomery College Learning Centers will strive to be a national model for learning centers that create an inviting, learner-centered, and supportive environment to engage students, faculty and staff in collaborative learning and enrichment.
The Academic Success Center (ASC) is a resource center for students taking courses in humanities, social sciences, and world languages and the Center also provides resource for economics, education, and mental health. The resources available for these disciplines include interactive software , textbook library, video library, internet access, Microsoft Suite and much more! We are located in the Catherine F. Scott Commons ( CM ) building in room 110 at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus.

new initiative expands the Academic Success Center’s tutoring services
to include all three campuses. Students will be able to talk with
faculty and peer tutors regardless of their physical locations. For more

Textbook Loan Program:
Each semester, the Academic Success Center
provides several copies of textbooks so that students who could not afford to
buy textbooks may borrow any one for a semester free of charge.
