The Academic Success Center (ASC) is a resource center for students taking courses in humanities, social sciences, and world languages and the Center also provides resource for economics, education, and mental health. The resources available for these disciplines include interactive software , textbook library, video library, internet access, Microsoft Suite and much more! We are located in the Catherine F. Scott Commons ( CM ) building in room 110 at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus .

This new initiative expands the Academic Success Center’s tutoring services to include all three campuses. Students will be able to talk with faculty and peer tutors regardless of their physical locations. Textbook Loan Program:
Each semester, the Academic Success Center
provides several copies of textbooks so that students who could not afford to
buy textbooks may borrow any one for a semester free of charge.

Microsoft Office: Computer stations in the ASC offer Microsoft Office for work on papers and assignments relating to humanities and social sciences subjects. Students may use the software as long as it is educationally related to a humanities or social science subject.
