If you appreciate extra recognition and academic challenge, M.C. Honors has a program for you.
Why work harder? In addition to the intellectual satisfaction, M.C. Honors offers recognition on your transcripts if you meet certain standards. When you transfer to a four-year program or go on a job interview, that acknowledgement shows you are a motivated person willing to give a little extra.
M.C. Honors programs pay off in other ways, too. Opportunities open up, including select internships, invitations to academic conferences, scholarships, and travel. You become part of a smaller community with other motivated students, and you can explore course material not covered in non-honors sections. Instructors and industry leaders become mentors.
M.C. Honors offerings are varied and include specialized classes and seminars, unique projects, and independent study.
If you are interested in an M.C. Honors education, you can choose from four primary options. Programs offered at Montgomery College include:
- Macklin Business Scholars
- Montgomery Scholars
- Renaissance Scholars
- The Scholars Circle
More information about each is available on the program description page.
