This College is authorized to issue the SEVIS I-20 form, “Certificate of Eligibility for Non-immigrant student status.”

International students need to request a SEVIS I-20 in order to request a student visa for entry into the United States.

If you already have a SEVIS I-20 form from another institution you will still need to transfer your student status to Montgomery College.

Students already in the U.S. should request specific information about changing your current non-immigrant status to student status. You must call and set up an appointment with an International Student Coordinator at the Montgomery College campus you choose to attend. The International Student Coordinator will review your change of status request.

You must meet the eligiblity requirements to reinstate an I-20. You must call and set up an appointment with an International Student Coordinator at the Montgomery College campus you choose to attend. The International Student Coordinator will review your reinstatement request.

For New I-20s
- June 1, 2009
Students applying from outside of the United States
- August 1, 2009
Students who are currently inside the United States and currently in F-1 status with an I-20.
- All other students currently in the United States in another non-immigrant status must contact the International Student Coordinator for deadlines.
