Special Notice Regarding Liberty Mutual Insurance Benefit
Liberty Mutual, which offers insurance benefits to Alumni Association members, has issued the following information about members living and working in areas affected by severe weather:
In the midst of the recent severe weather, Liberty Mutual is sending this message to remind our auto and home customers that important safety related information can be found by going to libertymutual.com and following the Claims Center link to the Catastrophe Center tab, and then selecting “Prepare for Catastrophes.” Here our customers will find important information on “Dealing with Ice Dams” as well as “Preventing Freezing Pipes.” These measures can be utilized in helping to avoid or limit damage to your home.
In the event Liberty customers do sustain damage as a result of this weather event, we encourage them to report any claims by calling 1-800-2 CLAIMS (1-800-225-2467), or on our website at www.libertymutual.com. Please report claims only once it is safe to do so. It is helpful to have an accurate description of any damages sustained.

Volunteers Wanted
The Alumni Association is looking for former students who are interested in supporting its committee activities. These groups help to coordinate events for alumni, organize fundraising efforts, distribute Association scholarship funds, and determine the benefits of Association membership. Montgomery College honored several of its successful students and student-athletes of past years at its 2011 Alumni Awards Dinner.
Four former students received the Milton F. Clogg Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award from the College’s alumni association, and four others entered the College’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
