TP/SS libraryLibrary Location: The Library is located in the Humanities Building (HS). The entrance is on the first floor. There is a book drop at the entrance for returning items when the library is closed.

Assistive Technologies Area 1: This area is equipped with programs such as JAWS, Kurzweil and VTEK to assist patrons who have special visual or auditory requirements, or learning disabilities.
Assistive Technology Area 2
Assistive Technologies Area 2: These two computers are equipped with programs such as JAWS, and have specialized keyboards to assist users who have special visual requirements or learning disabilities.
Children's Book Collection
Children's Book Collection: The Children's Book Collection contains picture books, chapter books, and other popular titles for children Pre-K through 5th grade. Titles were chosen to support the education department.
Reference Desk
Reference Desk: The Reference desk is located in the Reference Room, which is to the left after coming through the Library entrance. Students can ask a reference librarian for research help.
Reference Collection
Reference Collection: The Reference Collection contains encyclopedias, handbooks, almanacs, and other sources of authoritative background information on many disciplines. The Reference books cannot be checked out.
CD Collection
CD Collection: The CD collection contains titles from a broad range of music genres. Each CD can be borrowed for 3 weeks. The actual CD's are available at the Circulation desk.
Paperbacks
Paperbacks: The Paperback collection is located just behind the Sorenson Video Relay Service. The library has popular paperbacks in this area. They are arranged alphabetically by Author's last name, and can be checked out.
Circulation Desk
Circulation Desk: The Circulation desk is the first service desk you see as you enter the library. You can check out, return, and renew library items at the Circulation desk. You can also apply for a community patron card here.
Periodicals
Periodicals: Periodicals are popular magazines, scholarly journals, newspapers, and professional publications that are published at short intervals. Current issues are displayed on the shelf. Search the Library Catalog to find periodicals available at MC Libraries.
Audio Books
Audio Books: The audio collection contains titles that can be listened to with a variety of devices. Use the MC Library Catalog to find audio books.
Photocopiers
Photocopiers: Two photocopy machines are located in front of the Group Study Rooms on the first floor. Copies are $0.15 per page. The photocopy machines take $1 and $5 bills.
Study Rooms
Study Rooms: There are two Group Study Rooms at the Germantown Library. Groups of three or more MC students can borrow the key for the rooms at the Circulation Desk and use them for 2 hours a day. A current MC Student ID cards is required.
GPD Collection
GPD Collection: The Germantown Professional Development collection (GPD) contains DVD's, VHS, journals, and books to support faculty in their teaching and research. Items can be borrowed by faculty and staff or used by students within the library.
WEPA Print Kiosks: WEPA is a print management system using the cloud technology. A user login is required to release a print job. Help is available at the Technology Desk.
WEPA (ADA) Printer
WEPA (ADA) Printer: WEPA is a print management system using cloud technology. A user login is required to release a print job to any kiosk on campus. Germantown library has an ADA WEPA stations which is lower for wheelchair accessibility.

Audio Visual Area
Audio Visual Area: The Audio Video Area is equipped with DVD and VHS players that can be used to watch movies that are on Course Reserve or in the GPD collection. Ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk.
Public Stations
Public Stations: Germantown library has 68 computers available for the public. Each computer has MS Office and is connected to the internet. Wi-Fi is available throughout the library for laptops and other mobile devices. There are 60 computers on the First floor.

Circulating Collection: Books in the Circulating Collection may be checked out at the Circulation Desk, with a current MC Student ID card. Circulating books on the first floor include the call numbers numbers A to PZ.

Folios: The Folio Collection contains oversized books. They may be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
Sorensen Video Relay Service (VRS)
Sorensen Video Relay Service (VRS): The Sorensen Video Relay Service is available for free for hearing impaired patrons. It enables them to conduct video relay calls with faculty and/or staff through a certified American Sign Language interpreter. It is located in the Assistive Technology Area next to the Circulation desk.
Course Reserves
Course Reserves: Course Reserves are materials provided by faculty that are required reading for their courses. Course Reserves are shelved behind the Circulation Desk by course name, and require assistance to access. Course Reserve materials cannot be taken out of the library. Search this collection using the "Course Reserves" tab on the library's homepage.

HS 203: HS 203 is a classroom connected to the Germantown Campus Library. The classroom can be accessed from the second floor of the HS building. The library door is only unlocked when library instruction classes are taught.
