Our mission states that “We are the community’s college.” A variety of activities, programs and facilities are available on each campus to serve the needs and interests of our diverse range of students and their families. Take a look at everything Montgomery College has to offer beyond a great education.


Adult learners

If you are considering a return to college or even entering college for the first time, Montgomery College is an excellent choice.

Athletes

All students enrolled at the College are eligible for intramural sports regardless of the number of hours carried. Upon request, intramural sports will be organized as facilities and personnel permit.

Early placement students

Montgomery College's Early Placement Program allows selected high school juniors and seniors to enhance their class schedule with college-level credit course work and experience the independence of college-level study.

English as a second language (ESL) students

Counselors on each campus work with International students or students whose first language is not English.

First Year student

The First Year Experience Program (FYE) at Montgomery College consists of a series of orientation activities, programs, and courses to help you ease into the demands and challenges of college life.

Honors students

Montgomery College is committed to providing high-ability, highly motivated students with stimulating and challenging opportunities both within and outside the classroom. 

International or foreign students

MC counselors are available to advise new students, provide counseling, and plan programs to help students transition to college life in the United States.

Maryland Dream Act Student

The Maryland Dream Act allows high school graduates who are undocumented immigrants the opportunity to receive the lowest tuition rate at their local community college, if they meet certain requirements. The law applies to students who live in all 24 jurisdictions within the state of Maryland.

Online/distance learning students

Our online courses allow you to log in from wherever you choose and work toward your goals on your time.

Parents & Family

MC provides a medium for communication to disseminate appropriate and timely information, educational opportunities, and resources to parents and families of Montgomery College  students.

Students with child care needs

The Early Learning Centers allow our children to share an environment enriched by a diverse group of people, their interests and talents.

Students with a disability

Disability Support Services (DSS) is dedicated to assisting students with disabilities accomplish their personal, scholastic and career goals.

Veterans/Combat2College

Combat2College (C2C) provides academic and social opportunities, as well as support services for veterans, and active/reserve service members.
