Welcome to Montgomery College Center for International and Multicultural Students (CIMS)
CIMS provides counseling and support services to international students, speakers of English as a second language, and recent student immigrants who enroll at Montgomery College for their first semester. Our purpose is to encourage and support International students as they gain academic and language skills.
CIMS also provides assistance with college applications, counseling and academic advising, American English Language Program placement information, and student visa/I-20 information and referrals. In addition, the Center sponsors orientation programs, workshops, English conversation groups, and international club programs.
Please drop by SA150 for walk-in advising. The CIMS office is closed Thursdays, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The office will reopen 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm Thursday evenings. To make an appointment, click on the email addresses below. To see another counselor when the CIMS office is closed, please visit the Counseling and Advising office at SA172.
