Interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)?

  • Learn about STEM academic programs, support systems, benefits, and opportunities Montgomery College has to offer for your academic success in your chosen field of study and career.
  • Talk with faculty members about our science, technology, engineering, and math programs. STEM representatives will discuss STEM grants and scholarships; specialized STEM programs, as well as learning assistants, research, and internship opportunities.

Representatives from admissions, counseling and advising, assessment and placement testing, financial aid, disability support services, and student life will be available to answer your questions.

Light refreshments and Light dinner will be available.

Giveaways include iPads and TI 84 calculators.

Juniorsor Seniors ready to take on an extra challenge? Then Montgomery College's DualEnrollment Program may be just for you.

Dual Enrollment (formerly Early Placement) is available to advanced high school students admitted to Montgomery College (MC).  Select students are enrolled in college courses while still attending high school, providing an educational experience beyond what is available at the secondary level.

 High school juniors and seniors who meet the College's Dual Enrollment (DE) standards may enhance their schedule with college course work and experience the independence of college-level study while also earning college credit.

Homeschoolers, come learnabout the admissions process, testing, academic requirements and financialaid.

Get Ready For Registration

This event is designed to get new students ready for registration (which starts Monday, May 4) by assisting them through the enrollment process.

  • Please note that your arrival time will dictate how much of the process you are able to complete.

At this event students will be able to do the following:

  • Fill out an application for admission
  • Get help completing the FAFSA and Montgomery College financial aid documents 
  • Take the ACCUPLACER or ESL ACCUPLACER assessment tests
  • Learn how to log-in and navigate the MyMC student portal
  • Complete the Academic Orientation
  • Complete the virtual new student orientation
  • Take a tour of the campus

Refreshments will be provided.
