As a degree-seeking student at Montgomery College, you can earn credit and advanced standing for prior learning to apply toward graduation. You may be able to use college-level course work that you have already completed to satisfy degree requirements and to reach your educational goals in a shorter time period.
Degree-seeking students may have coursework from a U.S. college or university evaluated for transfer credit to Montgomery College.
You must be a degree seeking student at Montgomery College to have your work evaluated. If you have not yet declared a program of study (major), complete a Curriculum Change form and return it to the Office of Admissions and Records.
To receive credit, all transcripts must be official and received by the Office of Admissions and Records directly from the institution bearing the college seal, date, and appropriate signatures. Hand-carried transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the sending institution.
Non-degree-seeking students may present unofficial transcripts to the Office of Counseling and Advising or a departmental advisor to be waived into a course that has prerequisites that have been met at another college or university.
