There are many reasons to be interested in the field of mathematics and we here at the Montgomery College Germantown offer a wide variety of courses and services to meet your needs. We offer developmental mathematics courses is a low pressure, self-paced style, we also offer courses that satisfy foundation requirements here as well as transferring. Additionally, there are sophomore level mathematics courses to help you continue your studies of mathematics.
No matter what you need, we can help you find it! We have 13 full-time and over 30 part-time faculty ready to help you succeed, despite what your level of interest or ability. Our courses are scheduled across the day and evening, as well as on Saturday. We offer mathematical lectures throughout the semester and have an active math club. There is always someone willing to help in our Math and Accounting Learning Center located in HT 229.

Germantown Math Team Wins Area Competition, Again, In Double Overtime
Congratulations to the MC-Germantown Math Team for winning first place in the Third Annual Prince George's Community College Mathematics Competition on Saturday, April 2.
The team of John Gallagher, Mayuri Khatri, Stephanie Meshel, and Julian Mesick scored 21 out of 30 points, earning points for getting correct answers in less than three minutes (out of a 10-minute time limit) on 7 of 10 questions. Two tie-breaker rounds secured the win. Germantown's second team, comprising Michael Varghese, Jeremiah Seligman, Joy Roos, and Yi Shen also had a good showing.
