Welcome to the Humanities, Social Sciences and Education division on the Germantown Campus of Montgomery College. Here you will find a wide variety of general education courses for freshmen and sophomore students in 21 subjects, ranging from Art to English to History to Psychology, Health and Physical Education. Our degree and certificate offerings include Technical Writing, Computer Graphics, and Liberal Arts – Transfer programs. We are also the home of the academic preparation American English Language Program (for non-native speakers of English). We will do all we can to support learning in the classroom, including encouraging the use of the division’s Writing Center to assist you with your written course assignments. The Center is also home to tutorial services and to a variety of computer-based supplements for nearly all subjects.
