The Medical Learning Center (MLC) was established in January 2004 Spring semester. Since its inception, the center has grown to house many learning materials for students to use during their educational studies at Montgomery College . The MLC has state of the art computers, a scanner, books, videos and a comfortable environment for students to learn.
All Students must present MC Student ID card to use materials or test in the MLC.
The MLC is staffed by two Instructional Associates Grace Gourdine and Sarah Netzel-Arnett to help students achieve their success.
Medical Learning Center Mission
To provide an environment for students to study individually or in groups.
To assist students in using computer applications to complete assignments, projects and presentations.
To provide appropriate computer software, WEPA printers, scanner, audio-visual materials, videos, anatomy models, books, journals and equipment to enhance student's learning in the Health Sciences.
To provide an environment for Health Science students who need special software accommodations when taking tests.
To provide a place for health science students to review tests.
To provide a place for faculty to teach students via computer programs and software.
To provide computers and internet access for professional development training for faculty and staff.
