My name is Sarah Krejcik. This is my first year at Montgomery College, though it is not my first year attending a college. I was previously in pursuit of a business degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. After a pretty serious head injury left me struggling with memory and concentration issues, I used my recovery time to really think about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am still withholding judgment, but I am fairly confident that this injury is one of the best things that will have happened to me, because it led me here. I am currently striving for acceptance into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program here at Montgomery and am very excited about the opportunities this will afford me.
School aside, I am interested in a number of activities, many of which involve sports. Soccer has long been my passion and I have even had the privilege of captaining the United States representative team in the Gothia Youth World Cup in Sweden. I have also been lucky enough to claim two Lacrosse Club National Championships in my time as a women’s lacrosse player. Although I cannot play football, I am an avid supporter of the Super Bowl Champion Ravens (sorry to the Redskins fans out there, but I was born and raised in Baltimore, so I won’t hold it against you if you won’t hold it against me!). I have very recently become obsessed with 5k running and have been entering all manner of crazy themed races. Writing has also always been something I have enjoyed and I hope you will enjoy what I have to share with you.
Thanks for reading!
