About the Blackboard Help Desk
The Blackboard help desk is available to all students and faculty using Blackboard for instruction. This 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-per-week service is available to provide assistance to students, faculty and staff who have questions about using Blackboard. For students experiencing issues regarding courses not appearing on the My Blackboard area or faculty experiencing Banner/Blackboard roster-syncing issues, please contact ELITE at 240-567-6000. For all other technical issues including MyMC login issues, please contact the IT Help Desk.
Course specific questions (such as those about assignments, tests, grades, and course content) should be directed to the instructor only.
Online students may contact the Blackboard help desk for assistance in the following ways
• Telephone support with a certified Blackboard support representative. The Blackboard Helpdesk can be reached through the IT Helpdesk phone number 240-567-7222 and is available 24/7/365. Please note the IT Helpdesk is staffed Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 10:00PM, Saturday 8:00AM -4:30PM, Except College holidays and emergency closures
• Online chat with a certified Blackboard support representative. This feature is accessible through the Blackboard Technical Support Website and is available 24/7/365.
• Blackboard Help Desk Knowledge Base is a web-based forum that provides articles about common issues reported, useful documentation, and work-around’s to software-related issues. This feature is accessible through the Blackboard Technical Support Website and is available 24/7/365. If you are having difficulty logging into MyMC please contact the IT Helpdesk.
