Distance Education online orientation through the Blackboard course management system is designed to help students new to online learning better prepare themselves for success at Montgomery College.
We highly recommend that all new students go through this online orientation to get a feel for how online learning works. The orientation provides tips for student success and an introduction to Blackboard, the College’s course management system.
To access the orientation:

Click on Online Learning Orientation under My Course on the right-hand corner to access the orientation. You can visit the orientation as often as necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of the courses you have registered for (i.e., Eng 101 or Eng 102) have their own face-to-face orientations; we recommend you to sign up for those in addition to this online orientation. Please click on the EN101/EN102 Orientations link for more information.
