American iPottery: the eBook and Exhibition is a representative sample of some of finest work of North American potters.  It is also a reflection of the two-year effort that went into making the enhanced eBook for the iPad titled “American iPottery”.  The fifty potters included in this exhibition are represented in the iPad eBook by three-dimensional images that can be rotated to see all aspects of the pottery form - including the foot.  This is a revolutionary development in depicting three dimensional art works.  This book is one of the first employing this new digital interactive technology to view one of the most ancient art forms known to humankind: pottery.
