SQCC Research Fellowship 2018
2018 Research Fellowship Program, Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center – Application deadline: September 17, 2017.

SQCC Research Fellowship Program aims to promote and cultivate scholarly research about Oman across several academic disciplines. The fellowship is open to PhD candidates and university academics who are US citizens or affiliated with an American university, and funds one scholar or team of scholars to carry out research in Oman each year. The fellowship awards up to $51,000 for the fellow or team of fellows. For more information and how to apply, follow the link.

Display ImageAll for Alleppo - MC Students, Faculty, and Staff Help Local Group Raise $11,796 for Syrian Refugees

On February 15, over 80 members of the MC community turned out to support All for Aleppo a regional comedy series produced by Comic Rahmein Mostafavi to benefit the suffering in Syria. 

MC's planning team and attendees raised $1,741 for Doctors Without Borders, the largest single collection of the 11 shows promoting the cause. In total, the shows raised $11,796.
