 - Up to 84 credits accepted
 - Must provide evidence of a current U.S. license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
 - Must provide evidence of current employment in a position that requires use of nursing knowledge at the time of application and enrollment as determined by GW.
 - Students accepted to GW under the terms of this agreement must complete twenty-one (21) credits of GW coursework and register NURS 4121: Nursing Advancement Portfolio course in order to complete the BSN requirements.  The Nursing Advancement Portfolio course provides students an opportunity to verify their competencies in essential areas of knowledge and clinical skills required for the Bachelors' level nursing student. Students are eligible to receive advanced standing up to additional 15 credits after a portfolio review. GW will determine whether the portfolio is sufficient to obtain the required fifteen (15) credits.  If the student's portfolio does not warrant fifteen credits, the student will work with a GW advisor to identify necessary GW coursework or work experience to meet the criteria.  This course has a flat fee of $500 versus a per credit cost.
 - GW Hospital Nursing Scholars Program: The RN-BSN pathway requires you to complete 21 online credit hours, 45 clinical community health hours and a professional portfolio of up to 15 credits for advanced standing, making this an ideal entry into a master’s program. You will take an average of six credits of online coursework each semester and work full-time as an RN in an assigned unit at GW Hospital. Resident nurses must meet our admissions requirements as well as the employment requirements of GW Hospital. GW Hospital pays your tuition in full and offers you full-time employment throughout your education and at least three years after graduation. - Ten (10) scholarships of up to $5,000 per year will be available on a competitive basis for applicants admitted under the terms of this agreement.
