Montgomery College Alumni Art Drawing to Benefit Student Scholarship Programs
Alumni Association’s “Mobile Masterpieces” is Saturday, March 28
For those interested in uncovering the next Van Gogh or Monet, the Montgomery College Alumni Association is conducting a “Mobile Masterpieces” drawing for donated art to benefit the College’s scholarship programs on Saturday, March 28 at The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. The program begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Alumni Association has collected a number of pieces of original art created by students, faculty, alumni and community artists and will sell exactly the number of tickets that match the number of art works. Ticketholders' names will be drawn one at a time, at which time they select a piece of artwork. Every ticket purchaser will take home an original artwork. To view the catalog of artwork, visit http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/masterpieces/catalog.html
The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center is located on the west side of Montgomery College’s Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. Visitors are encouraged to park in the College’s East Campus Parking Garage on Fenton Street and take the pedestrian bridge and path to the arts center.
Tickets are $75. All funds raised will benefit Montgomery College scholarships. To purchase tickets or for more information, call 240-567-5378 or e-mail email@example.com.
