Students who wish to earn a
four-year bachelor's degree in Accounting are advised to follow the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in
Business. Most four-year accounting degrees require that
students specialize in accounting courses in the junior and senior year (in
300- and 400-level courses), taking only ACCT 221 & 222 Principles of

order to earn the CPA (Certificate in Public Accountancy), students must first
complete a four-year bachelor's degree (120 credits total), plus earn an
additional 30 credits, as well as fulfill other requirements. See the
