Transfer Partnership Programs

MC students can participate in Transfer Partnership Programs, which give them benefits before applying to or enrolling at a transfer school. Visit each page to learn about the program's requirements and deadlines. Not all students will be eligible for each program. Maryland Transfer Advantage Program (MTAP) - Thinking of transferring to UMD? Apply to be a member of MTAP and receive benefits such as guaranteed admission, tuition discounting and dual enrollment opportunities. 

Terp Transfer Partnership (TTP) - This program is designed to benefit MC students who plan to transfer to a University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) Bachelor's degree program at the Universities at Shady Grove. TTP students are eligible for guaranteed admission into one of the USG programs, tuition discounting, dual admission, and early access to academic advising.

Transfer Student Alliance (TSA) – UMBC also offers admission in the TSA Program forstudents intending to complete a degree at the main campus or USG Campus. Members are allowed to take coursework at a 25% reduced tuition rate, and participate in campus events and activities.

UMBC Raptor to Retriever (R2R) - Students interested in transferring to one of UMBC's bachelor's degree programs offered at the Universities at Shady Grove may benefit from R2R, which provides students with an application fee waiver to UMBC, priority orientation and advising, and more. 

University of Baltimore Bee Line - For students interested in the B.S. in Health Systems Management or B.S. in Simulation and Digital Entertainment degrees offered by the University of Baltimore at the Universities at Shady Grove, Bee Line provides students with guaranteed admission, priority advising, and dual-enrollment opportunities.

University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Hawk Line - For students interested in the B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management or B.S. in Construction Management Technology by UMES at the Universities at Shady Grove, Hawk Line provides students with priority advising and guaranteed admission to the B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management or B.S. in Construction Management Technology.

University of Maryland University College (UMUC) Alliance Program - As a student at MC, you are automatically enrolled in the UMUC Alliance Program; MC students may be eligible for dual enrollment options, guaranteed admission, a completion scholarship, advising and an application fee waiver. 

Transfer Opportunity Program at Shepherd (TOPS) - Students who meet the eligibility requirements for TOPS will be provided with early academic advising, tuition discounting, and priority housing opportunities at Shepherd.

Morgan State University CONNECT Program - Students invited into the CONNECT program take classes at MC can have access to Morgan State's social activities, athletic events, and more.
