Title Nine

To Discuss Confidentially

Internal Confidential Reporting

For Students (contact a counselor directly):

  • Rockville Counseling Department
    240-567-5063 or 240-567-4104
  • Germantown Counseling Department
  • Takoma Park/Silver Spring Counseling Department

For Employees:

Discussing an alleged incident of sexual misconduct with a Confidential Resource will not itself lead to an investigation or resolution of the incident as set forth in the Procedure accompanying policy 31001-Sexual Misconduct. Confidential Resources do not have the authority to establish interim protective measures or resolve incidents through either Informal Resolution or Investigation/Formal Resolution, nor can they cause these processes to take place. Instead, their role is to provide support and guidance based on their training and professional experience. Individuals are therefore encouraged to report sexual misconduct to the Title IX Coordinator, or a Responsible College Employee to allow the College the opportunity to address and resolve the matter.
