If you are judged as having sufficient talent or ability in the initial audition, you will be asked to attend call-back auditions.
NEW for 2015: Summer Dinner Theatre staff will contact you by phone to let you know if you have or have not been called back. You will be contacted beginning on Monday, May 11, 2015. Those who are called back will be expected to attend the "call back prep session" held on Tuesday, May 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Please call 240-567-7676, no later than 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12th if you have not heard from us.
If your name is on the list, call-backs will be held on Wednesday, May 13th & Thursday, May 14th evenings and make-ups on Saturday, May 16th morning.
NEW for 2015: You will only be called in for specific times during the callback sessions.
In an effort to eliminate one very long day, our call back sessions will be broken down into specific call times for each individual. It is very important to be specific about any conflicts you may have during this audition week as your call times for call backs will be based off of your conflict calendar on your audition form. Please also be aware that during the call back process, you may be asked to read for different rolls or you may only be asked to read for one roll. It is not an indication of your talent or guarantee of the part you may be cast in. The directors and artistic staff will be looking for each individual to be committed to the call back they are chosen for. On some occasions, you may be asked to stay longer or come back for an additional day/time during this process.
Based on the call-backs, a final cast list will be created by the artistic staff.
NEW for 2015: On Sunday, May 17th Summer Dinner Theatre staff will contact you by phone to let you know if you have been accepted into the class and the role(s) you will be playing. First Class session will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015
Call 240-567-7676 on Monday, May 18th by 2 p.m. if by any reason you have not heard from us.
The production staff will cast you appropriately unless you specified on the audition form that you are only interested in a specific role. Be sure to think twice about auditioning for a specific role only, because if you are not cast in the role that you specified, you will not be asked to participate in Summer Dinner Theatre.
