Counting Meetings in Relation to Final Exam Week

For all classes meeting less than a full semester (except POTs 3) all meeting minutes will be calculated counting finals week as one class meeting.

**For Part of Term 3 that end during final exam week (with the exception of distance learning classes, blended classes, and classes with only one contact hour); count all the times the class meets up until final exam week and adjust minutes to that number of meetings. The classes will actually meet during final exam week but that week is not counted in the instructional time calculation.

Counting Meetings in Relation to Final Exam Week

(as of January 2012 starting with Fall 2012 Term 201320 which is the implementation of multiple parts of term)

For all classes meeting less than a full semester all meeting minutes will be calculated counting finals week as one class meeting.

Montgomery College schedules its credit courses following a term schedule (Fall and Spring) and also has additional classes offered during Summer and Winter sessions.  A term runs about 15 weeks.

A part of term is just that - part of a full term. This allows Montgomery College to offer a larger variety of class delivery options by using multiple parts of term. MC currently offers nine parts of term. Parts of term are only used in the fall and spring terms and are not used for the winter or summer sessions.

The refund date for a Lecture/lab/discussion combinations follows the lecture refund date.
