FERPA logo As an employee of the College, it is vital that you are aware of your role in ensuring student record privacy outlined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. 

What is the requirement?

All Academic and Student Services employees and all administrators and supervisors hired or promoted after July 1, 2014 are required to complete this training within one year of your hire-date

 

How to take the online class

  1. There will be an 8 minute video followed by a 10-question quiz.
  2. When finished, you will receive a confirmation in your MC e-mail that you have completed the training.
  3. Submit a copy of the email to your supervisor as evidence of completing the training.

About This Class 

This online training will take approximately 30 minutes. In the event employees require assistance in completing this training, please contact the Office of Human Resources, Development, and Engagement at HRDE@montgomerycollege.edu to make alternate training arrangements for an individual or groups of employees.
