WELCOME NEW FALL 2014 STUDENTS:

New students have TWO Orientation programs to attend (in addition to the MAP Montgomery Advising Program or IMAP meeting)

Students MUST ATTEND orientations.  International Orientation is MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS WITH A NEW MONTGOMERY COLLEGE I-20

SIGN UP on-line for the New Student Orientations (see links below).  You do NOT need to sign up for the International Orientation (you are expected to attend and sign in).


GERMANTOWN CAMPUS:

1) MANDATORY International Orientation: Wednesday, August 20th, 2:00 to 4:30pm in the HT (High Technology building) room  205

2) New Student Orientation (NSO)  HT Building

ROCKVILLE CAMPUS:

1) MANDATORY New International Orientation: Thursday, August 21st 3:00-7:00PM (with dinner options afterward).

ALL Rockville Orientations take place in the Theater Arts Arena (directly across from the Student Services building where the International Coordinator's office is located)

2) New Student Orientation (NSO)

2) New Student Orientation (NSO) in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring, Cultural Arts Center

*Of course, always check the website and discuss any questions you have about the College and your F-1 status with your International Coordinator's Office!!

 


Proving your legal status

The information about your legal status in the United States (on your current visit) and how long you may stay is on the date entry stamp in your passport. You should also print out an I-94 record for your records at https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov 

If you have any problem printing, or something is wrong with your I-94 card, you may need to visit BWI airport to fix it.

Outside of normal hours they will try to help you (if you call first) but will be also meeting arriving flights.
