Requests: By WebIn Person, and by U.S. Mail  

Request Your OFFICIAL MC Transcript:

  1. Log-in to My MC by clicking on the yellow button at the top of the page.
  2. Click on “Request MC Transcript or Enrollment Verification under Student Quick Links and follow the steps.
  3. If you need help with My MC, call 240-567-5000, choose option 1 for English, and then option 2 for My MC.
  4. There is a $7 fee for each official transcript.
  5. Web requests are mailed within three (3) business days. 

Your transcript reflects all of your credit coursework and is not campus/location specific.

If you plan to transfer to another college or university,be sure to request  that your transcript is held for grades and/or graduation.


Request Your UNOFFICIAL MC Transcript:

  1. Log-in to My MC by clicking on the yellow button at the top of the page.
  2. Click on “View Grades/Print Unofficial Transcript” under Student Quick Links and follow the steps.
  3. If you need help with My MC, call 240-567-5000, choose option 1 for English, and then option 2 for My MC.

Unofficial transcripts are FREE.


Check the Status of Your MC Transcript Order:

  1. Log-in to My MC by clicking on the yellow button at the top of the page
  2. Click on “Request MC Transcript of Enrollment Verification under Student Quick Links and then click on “View Status of Transcript Requests.”
  3. If you need help with My MC, call 240-567-5000, choose option 1 for English, and then option 2 for My MC.

Need Your OFFICIAL MC Transcript FASTER?

  1. Print and fill out the Transcript Request form.
  2. This completed form MUST be signed by the student.*
  3. Submit the completed Transcript Request form and payment ($7 fee per transcript ) to the Office of Admissions and Records.
  4. Bring a picture ID, so that you can walk away with your official MC transcript in hand.

The University System of Maryland requires that transcripts are sent directly from Montgomery College.  It is in your best interest NOT to mail or walk-in your official transcript to any University of Maryland school. 

If you plan to transfer to another college or university, be sure to request a final transcript once all of your final grades are posted and/or your degree is conferred.

If you will be paying with cash or debit card, you need to make payment with the Campus Cashier’s FIRST; the Cashier’s Office closes at 4:30 p.m. The Office of Admissions and Records cannot accept cash or debit cards.  The Office of Admissions and Records can accept credit cards, checks and money orders.

* Third parties picking up a transcript on behalf a student are required to have picture ID and a release that is:

  1. Signed and dated by the student
  2. States the person's full name that is picking up the transcript
  3. States that the student gives Montgomery College permission to release the student's transcript to individual named in the release.

Official MC Transcript Request by Mail:

  1. Print  and fill out the Transcript Request  form.
  2. This completed form MUST be signed by the student.
  3. Submit the completed Transcript Request form and check or money order($7 fee per transcript) to:

Mailed requests are processed within five (5) business days; allow seven (7) business days during registration periods.  For faster service, request your official MC transcript through My MC.
