What We Do

Health and Wellness can have a positive impact on academic success.  Providing students access to education and training, community resources, and supports in areas that account for the "whole student" can significantly reduce barriers to completion and barriers that take focus away from their education.

"We have to think about the conditions that impact learning." - Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab

Committed to students "Achieving the Promise," the Student Health, Wellness and Support Center for Success is being designed to increase student success through connecting and providing students with resources to support their physical and mental wellbeing.

The foundation of the center entails the building of MC Community Network Resources, which consists of three main tenants:

Health and Safety Education

  • Violence Against Women
  • Sexual Assault
  • Pregnancy
  • Dating Violence

Health, Human Services, and Nutrition
