Recent high school graduates and students who are new to college must submit a copy of their official high school transcript or GED certificate. The deadline to submit this document to the Office of Admissions and Records is by the third week of your first semester at Montgomery College. Applicants who are unable to produce this document are required to notify a campus registrar in writing.
Montgomery College is an open enrollment institution and failure to produce this document will not prevent students from being admitted to the college.
If you cannot provide a transcript, some programs at the College such as financial aid, scholarships, intercollegiate athletic participation, and Maryland Dream Act consideration may not be available to you.
If you graduated from a high school outside of the United States, your high school transcript must be evaluated by a credential evaluation service . If you are not able to obtain your foreign high school transcript, please petition your campus registrar for a possible waiver.
