Germantown Development Project

The Germantown Development Project aims to create an integrated academic, business, and research environment on the Germantown Campus to benefit students, faculty, staff and the larger Montgomery County community. The project calls for the development of:

  • Germantown Innovation Center (completed) - to provide R&D-ready space to local start-up companies to stimulate synergy among budding entrepreneurs in the County.
  • Science and Technology Park - to provide space to companies (preference given to biotechnology, bioinformatics, IT, nanotechnology, and digital services) at all stages of development.
  • Bioscience Education Center - to house the education and training continuum from Middle Schools through Postdoctoral education.
