Welcome to the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus
The Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus is located in a dynamic urban neighborhood near the southern border of Montgomery County. We celebrate and embrace the diversity in our community and we respond to local, regional and national needs by offering a comprehensive educational experience with signature programs in the Health Sciences and the Visual and Performing Arts. Our enrollment has grown by more than twenty percent over the last five years to nearly 7500 students from who hail from more than 100 countries.
Our dedicated faculty and staff create an atmosphere where students learn inside and outside the classroom. We offer a wide variety of high quality programs and services designed to meet the educational, professional and social needs of our students and the community. In addition, the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus is in the midst of an amazing transformation in our physical plant. In the past ten years, we have tripled the size of the physical plant, adding several new buildings and renovating existing buildings to better support the mission of the College. New facilities include:
The Charlene R. Nunley Student Services Center
The Health Sciences Center
The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center
The Takoma Park/ Silver Spring Cultural Arts Center
The most recent addition to the campus is the newly renovated Commons Building with nine state of the art classrooms, a social sciences computer learning lab and the Bliss Conference Center, which hosts both college and community engagement events. Plans are underway for the redesign and renovation of other buildings on campus to meet the growing needs of our students and the community.
The Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus is experiencing a wonderful renaissance and we invite you to take full advantage of our top-notch academic and cultural offerings. Thanks for stopping by our website.
