Middle States Accreditation at Montgomery College

2012-13 Progress Updates Process


In order for the 2013 Periodic Review Report to include the latest progress, status updates need to be submitted by November 30, 2012


The Office of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness oversees the annual progress updates process for the Middle States Self-Study items. During 2008 summer, the College Executive Team assigned Office Responsibles to oversee the implementation of the 2008 Self-Study recommendations. The annual progress status are normally collected in March of every year, marking the anniversary of the 2008 Middle States Team Visit.

For 2012-13, in order to include the latest information of our Middle States progress in the 2013 Periodic Review Report, the co-chairs of the PRR Coordinating Committee have requested units to submit the status updates by November 30, 2012.  Units, Academic Areas, and Governance Groups entered the information online into TracDat application.  Instructions and specific data collection links were emailed to the Office Responsibles in October 2012.

Beside those units/areas who are directly responsible for the Suggestions, the college community were encouraged to provide any additional information for a specific Suggestion via an online comment form.   These additional information was collected in early 2013 and forwarded to the appropriate office(s) for their review and consideration.
