The OSAS manages and coordinates the College’s expanding array of partnerships with:
- Local business community
- Local educational institutions
- International institutions
Since the summer of 2011, Montgomery College has partnered with Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, to enhance the educational offerings of students in Montgomery College’s business program.
Pre-K Through 20 Council
Montgomery College participates in the local and state Pre-K through 20 Councils, which have been established to enhance academic and organizational connections among educational institutions and enhance student learning by offering a coherent, county- and state-wide program for all students. Goals of the council are to:
- Enhance communications and partnering among organizations
- Document best practices
- Clarify pathways for students into career areas
- Include parents and students as stakeholders
- Collaborate with the larger community
- Enhance educational opportunities for all students.

Montgomery College participates in an evolving partnership with Macau Millennium College (MCC) in China. At this point, MC faculty teach summer courses in Macau and student exchanges are being planned.

STAR - Stand Tall And Reach
The STAR scholarship program recognizes outstanding black and African American students with certificates and scholarships of $50 and $1000 dollars. Chosen by College and community leaders, the STAR applicants are evaluated on the basis of their grade-point averages, community service, and interviews.
The STAR Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation that was started and initially funded in 1992 by Paul Peck. STAR is all volunteer and over 98% of all money goes to scholarships. Peck has extended STAR into Washington DC; Oakland, CA; Richmond, VA; and Arlington County, VA. To date, the STAR Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $1.01 million in merit scholarships and merit awards.
