TICKETING POLICIES

Accessibility:  The CAC is deeply committed to making the arts accessible to all.  Please provide the center with sufficient advanced notice to arrange accommodations.  Patrons with special seating requests should inform the Box Office at the time of ticket purchase. 

Wheelchair AccessibleThe CAC features wheelchair-accessible parking, entrances, restrooms, elevators, and seating.


 

Assisted Listening Devices available.Assistive listening devices to amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise are available.  Theatregoers may enjoy our free infrared system for the hearing impaired from any seat during any performance by using a headset that may be picked up from the box office.  Headsets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

NO FOOD OR DRINK permitted in theatres at any time. 

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY OF ANY KIND.  This includes red-eye reduction photographs, the flash on a red-eye reduction photograph is paramount to a strobe light, and is more dangerous for our performers.  If photography is permitted during the performance, it will be announced at the beginning of the show. 

Please don’t spoil the performance by adding your own soundtrack.  Turn off anything that beeps, buzzes, rings, etc. 

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  There are no refunds or exchangesIn the event a show is cancelled, a refund will be issued or the patron may exchange their tickets for another CAC present events. If a higher priced show is chosen, the patron may pay the difference in price.  In the event of a cancellation we will refund the full price of your ticket or waive the exchange fee.  

Every patron, regardless of age, MUST have a ticket.  Even if you intend to hold your young child throughout the performance, they still need a ticket to comply with Maryland Fire Marshall and Crowd Control guidelines.  Children are ages 13 & under, Seniors are ages 55 and up, the “Student” discount is available to anyone with a valid student ID, MC ID is inclusive of any Montgomery College staff/faculty/student with their college ID. 

Strollers are not permitted in the theatre.  Patrons may park them in the lobby at their own risk.

Latecomers will be allowed to enter at the staff’s discretion, during appropriate program intervals in Theatre 1. 
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LATE SEATING IN THEATRE 2.   To access seats in Theatre 2, you must walk across the stage.  The setup of theatre 2 is represented by the graph to the right. Late seating in that space is disruptive to every performance and we want our patrons to have the best experience possible.   

 

 

 

 

No Smoking or Tobacco Products

 

Montgomery College became a tobacco-free campus on August 1, 2008.  All tobacco products, including cigarettes and chewing tobacco are prohibited on Montgomery College property. 

 

 

Other events you may see advertised as taking place at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center are presented by guest users of Montgomery College.   The College does not sell tickets for these events and you should contact the presenter directly.
